PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent imperfect cooling when the cooling load of a refrigerating showcase exceeds the capacity of a refrigerating machine. SOLUTION: When a common refrigerating machine 6 is installed in a group 1 of refrigerating showcases 1A, 1B, 1C..., a general controller 35 for generally controlling them is provided. When the refrigerant suction pressure of a compressor 9 measured by a pressure sensor 7 exceeds a prescribed pressure setting value, an overload state is decided by an overload detecting part 43. A command is sent to the remote controller 62 of an air conditioner 61 in a shop by radio such as an infrared ray from an overload control part 46 to lower the setting temperature of the air conditioner 61 by a prescribed value. Thus, the ambient temperature of the refrigerating showcases 1A, 1B, 1C... is lowered and the cooling load thereof is lowered to cancel the overload state of the refrigerating machine 6.
