PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which developing property and environmental stability are improved and an image of high quality can be stably obtd. for a long time. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, a cleaning process is carried out by using a method that the toner remaining on the surface of an electrostatic latent image holding body 2 in the developing process is recovered by a developer carrying body 1 to clean the surface of the electrostatic latent image holding body. The toner contains a binder resin, coloring agent and wax component. In the equivalent diameter-circularity scatter diagram based on the number of toner particles calculated as corresponding circles measured by a flow-type particle image measuring device, the number average diameter of the toner corresponding to circles is 2 to 10 μm, and the average circularity of the toner is 0.920 to 0.995, and the standard deviation of circularity is <0.040. |
