<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the stable multiplex processing by multiplexing the 1st information that is generated at a fixed rate and held in the prescribed length and the 2nd information that is generated and held at a variable rate to generate a multiple packet and transmitting these packets to be included in a fixed number at a fixed transmission bit interval. SOLUTION: A control part 40 generates a multiple packet consisting of the coding data on the voices which are generated at a fixed rate and the coding data on the images which are generated at a variable rate. Then the part 40 fetches both voice and image information coded at a voice coding part 20 and an image coding part 30 respectively via an internal bus 50 and multiplexing these information to generate a multiple packet. The part 40 includes a processor which executes the control software, a memory which operates the processor and a controller which controls the input and output of the bus 50 and a storage device 60. The control software is loaded into a memory of the part 40 from the storage device 60 such as a hard disk or a floppy disk and executed there.</p> |
