<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can prevent an offset and obtain a high quality color image with high optical transparency. SOLUTION: In an image forming method in which a toner image formed on an optically transparent recording material 6 with color toners is heated and fixed on the recording material 6 by a fixing roller 131 to form a color image, the set fixing temperature of the fixing roller is in the temperature range of 120-200 deg.C, the color toners contain at least a binding resin, coloring agent, and wax. The fixing roller has a roller base and a fluorine-containing resin layer having a thickness of 10-80μm and being formed on the outer surface side of the roller base. The surface hardness of an elastic layer formed on the outer surface side of the roller substrate, measured by a micro-hardness meter is 30-50 deg., and that of the fixing roller is 60-70 deg..</p> |
