<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing tab terminals for electrolytic capacitors by avoiding burrs at the side face and on the boundary line between the side face and top end, to avoid damaging an Al foil which is wound around the head. SOLUTION: Upper and lower blades 24, 26 for cutting a flat part and extruded part formed from a round bar each has approximately a U-shape, both corners of which are made not rectangular but round like a circular arc. When the extruded part is cut by the upper and lower blades 24, 26, the boundary between the side face to be a head and top end is formed into a shape having no burrs owing to the corners of the upper and lower blades 24, 26. Since the boundary between the side face to be a head and top end is formed without burrs owing to the corners of the upper and lower blades 24, 26, an Al foil to be wound round the head will not be damaged, even if they contact the side face or boundary.</p> |
