PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid enlargement of optical parts and also accurately compensate an angle error of a laser beam emitted by semiconductor laser, namely to allow this angle error. SOLUTION: This pickup device of an optical recording medium is provided with semiconductor laser 1, a collimator lens 2 for paralleling the laser beam from this semiconductor laser 1, and an object lens 7 for condensing the laser beam 1 on a optical recording medium 21, and is configured to assemble the semiconductor laser 1 and the collimator lens 2 into one block 31. This block is to be set to a predetermined positional relation to the object lens 7. |
