摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the stator winding of a concentrated winding synchronous motor generate larger torque even when the same power is supplied to the winding, by correcting the alternating current supplied to a winding wound around a tooth so as to reduce the current when a magnetic force is generated to the most approaching pole of a rotor in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the motor. SOLUTION: A main control section decides the phase of the current to be supplied to a motor based on the output of a rotor position detector attached to the motor and supplies the current to the motor by sending a control signal to a current supplying section. Then the control section pays attention to the degree of contribution of the winding in a certain phase of a stator 35 to torque and, when a rotor 32 and the stator 35 are in such a positional relation that is unfavorable to torque generation, makes a current which is smaller than a reference current flow to the winding wound around a tooth 34c as a corrected current. Therefore, the degree of action of the magnetic field generated from the tooth 34c in the direction in which the torque generation is prevented can be reduced and, as a result, the generating efficiency of the torque can be improved.
