PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a constant-voltage generating circuit which is made recoverable fast into the stationary state at power-on time without causing an increase in power consumption in the stationary state. SOLUTION: A BGR circuit has a main current path 1 which includes the connection node between a current source PMOS transistor(TR) QP3 and a resistance R2 as a voltage output terminal by connecting the TR QP3, the resistance R2, and a diode D3 in series between power terminals and also has a power-on resetting TR QN3 which resets the output terminal OUT to a power source potential VCC by forcibly turning on the current source PMOS TR QP3 at the power-on time. For the main current path 1, an auxiliary current path 2 which has a current source PMOS TR QP4 connected to the PMOS TR QP3 in parallel and a resistance R3 connected to the resistance R2 in parallel is provided. In the auxiliary current path 2, a switch circuit 3 is provided which turns off the auxiliary current path 2 in the stationary state and turns on the auxiliary current path 2 for a certain time at the power-on time.
