PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing ferrite materials, having sufficiently high sintered density and superior electromagnetic characteristics, even at a relative low sintering temperature. SOLUTION: This method comprises a process for drying ferrite powder ground slurry obtained through wet grinding, process for heat-treating ferrite powder obtained through the drying process, and a process for granulating and molding ferrite powder obtained through the heat treatment process. In this case, the heat treatment is conducted in an atmosphere, in which oxygen concentration is 5-100% and heating temperature is 200-700%, and the conditions for the heat treatment are set so that the carbon content of the ferrite powder after the heat treatment becomes 500 ppm or less. |
