PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly stop the rotation of a disk at the time of ejecting the disk by braking the rotation of a disk driving device only in the period when a disk carrier is moved to the disk loading/unloading position from the disk reproducing position. SOLUTION: A driving part 5 is controlled by a control circuit so as to brake the rotation of the turntable 2, but the time for 2-3 seconds are required till the disk 1 is completely stopped. Since the disk carrier 6 is instantaneously stopped by the force of a spring, a rotary body of the disk driving device is abutted on an abutting part 10 while keeping the rotating state. The abutting part 10 is stacked with the rotary body of the disk driving device in the radial direction of the rotary body of the disk driving device, and this stacked state is absorbed by the elastic force of the abutting part 10 and the swinging movement of a swing contact means 8 between the driving part 5 and disk carrier 6. By the friction between the rotary body of the disk driving device and the abutting part 10 generated by the repulsion at this time, the rotation of the rotary body is braked and stopped, then the rotation of the disk 1 inserted onto the turntable 2 is stopped.
