PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photoreceptor having high sensitivity and low residual potential and free from the problem of the increase of residual potential due to the repeating use by containing a specific enamine based compound in a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The enamine based compound expressed by a formula is contained in the photosensitive layer. In the formula, each of R1-R4 represents a (substituted) alkyl group, a (substituted) alalkyl group, a (substituted) aryl group or the like. Each of Ar1-Ar4 represents hydrogen atom, a (substituted) alkyl group, a (substituted) alalkyl group or the like. X represents -CR5=CR6-, -CR7=CR8-CR9=CR10- or -CR11=CR12-Y-CR13=CR14- and each of R5-R14 represents hydrogen atom, a (substituted) alkyl group, a (substituted) alalkyl group or the like. Y represents a (substituted) 2-valent alkylene group, a (substituted) 2-valent arylene group or the like.
