PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examining device by which an extra load is not given to the carrying means of a medium, the medium left in a discharge port is collected in a short time and the succeeding medium can be discharged. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a discharge port 4 discharging a medium T1 carried by the carrying means 28 for discharge, a collecting part 39 collecting the medium T1 carried by the carrying means 29 for collection, a main motor driven machine 41 driving main carrying means 11 and 12 in the forward direction, an auxiliary motor driven machine 42 which drives the carrying means 28 for discharge in forward and backward directions, drives the carrying means 28 for discharge in the backward direction when the medium T1 discharged in the discharge port 4 is left for a prescribed time and fetches it from the discharge port 4 and second flapper 46 guiding the medium T1 fetched by the carrying means 28 for discharge to the carrying means 29 for collection. |
