COMPOSITION FOR FORMING FLUORESCENT PATTERN AND PRODUCTION OF BACK-PLATE OF PLASMA DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive fluorescent paste capable of forming a fluorescent layer having a uniform thickness, in the inner surface of a barrier rib and a back plate of PDP, which has a fluorescent layer in the form capable of uniformly emitting light and the method for producing the back-plate of PDP. SOLUTION: The composition forming the fluorescent pattern is produced by kneading a binder resin, a photo-polymerizable monomer, a photoinitiator, a fluorescent substance and an organic solvent, wherein a cellulose derivative having a high molecular weight is used as the binder resin. The back-plate of PDP which has a fluorescent layer in the form capable of uniformly emitting light with high luminance and the method for producing the back-plate of PDP are provided.
