PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly set a photographic lens in a focal position, besides, to attain high focusing accuracy. SOLUTION: It is decided that the photographic lens stands in the focal position in the case a defocusing amount is within a 2nd focusing width. In the case the defocusing amount is not within the 2nd focusing width (marks, A1, A3, A4, A5, A7 and A8), and if it is necessary for a photographic lens to turn over the moving direction in order to control the defocusing amount within the 2nd focusing width, and also the defocusing amount is within a 1st width (marks A3 and A8), it is decided that the photographic lens stands in the focal position. Contrarily, if it is necessary for photographic lens to still more move in the same direction in order to control the defocusing amount within the 2nd focusing width (marks A1 and A5), it is decided that the photographic lens does stands in the focal position. |
