PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate errors in assembling a moving contact plate by shaping the moving contact plate, with its front and back are symmetrical. SOLUTION: A pressure switch includes a diaphragm 4, provided to partition the internal space 11 of a switch main body 1 into a first chamber 12 and a second chamber 13 and displaced by the difference between the pressure to be detected that is received in the first chamber 12 and atmospheric pressure within the second chamber 13, a moving contact plate 7 and a fixed contact plate 5 which constitute a switching mechanism provided in the switch main body 1 and opened and closed according to the displacement of the diaphragm 4, and a terminal 32 electrically connected to the switch mechanism and having one end placed in the connector housing 33 of the switch main body 1. The fixed contact plate 5 is fixed inside the second chamber 13. The moving contact plate 7 has a desired number of projecting parts 71, 72 which are formed integrally with its front and back, respectively.
