PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD which makes it possible to make a choice between a graphic form and a nongraphic form using characters and numerals for an input method and converts input data in one form into the other form automatically so that data of both the formats are considered to have been inputted. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with CAD 2 for data input which inputs data in a graphic or nongraphic format, a data conversion part 3 which generates data in the other format according to the inputted data in the graphic or nongraphic format, an operation part 4 which switches the formats of data to be displayed, and CAD 5 for graphic display correction which displays the data in the graphic form. The operation part 4 is able to even start software 6, such as various calculating programs, other than the CAD.
