PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting display device which is not changed in the hue of screen display even if there is external shining light. SOLUTION: The heads 3b, 4b, 5b of LED lamps 3, 4, 5 are arranged on a display plane of a front panel 2 as light-emitting parts; all of the heads 3b-5b are provided with hoods 2b, 2c covering approximately their upper half peripheries with the hoods projected from the display plane; and the projecting lengths of the hoods 2b, 2c from the display plane are made shorter than the tips of the heads 3b-5b so that external light from diagonally above, etc., can shine on all the LED lamps 3-5 under the same condition and that the light from all the light-emitting parts can come into a field of view even when looking up the screen from lower side.
