PURPOSE: A method for controlling a transmitting operation of a plurality of wireless portable devices in a composite device which transmits a signal received from the plurality of wireless portable devices to a predetermined external receiver and an apparatus therefor are provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a transmitting operation of a composite device, the method comprising the steps of: storing an ID designated in a predetermined wireless portable device and a part of a predetermined external receiver telephone in a memory of the composite device; comparing an ID of the wireless portable device which has generated the signal with the ID stored in the memory when a signal is inputted from an optional wireless portable device among a plurality of wireless portable devices; detecting whether a part of the predetermined external receiver telephone is included in the telephone numbers of an external receiver received from the wireless portable device which has generated the signal when the ID of the wireless portable device which has generated the signal is identical with the stored ID; and performing a predetermined transmitting operation when the part of the predetermined external receiver telephone is included in the telephone numbers of an external receiver received from the wireless portable device which has generated the signal.
