Device to dissolve biological wastes and fibrous wastes has the following units: 1.1 a mixer (1) to receive the waste and mix it with water, with a heavies outlet; 1.2 a dissolution unit (2) to disintegrate and break up the waste; 1.3 a classifier (3) to separate dissolved waste suspension form the leftover waste; 1.4 a mixer (11) comprising a rotary mixing drum coaxial with the axis of rotation, having an inlet and an outlet at an axial distance apart; 1.5 a coil on the inner mixing drum surface with at least one turn, which runs such that the feed moves towards the dissolution unit (2); 1.7 a heavies gate on the drum periphery between the inlet and outlet.
