PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording apparatus by which place information about a place can be recorded easily together with date and time at a present point. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus is provided with a positioning and measuring means 12 which measures its own position, date and time, a map database 16 in which information on a map has been stored, a selection means 14 by which the information on the map corresponding to its own position obtained from the positioning and measuring means 12 is selected automatically from the map database 16, and a control means 8 by which the information on the map corresponding to the date, the time and/or its own position is recorded on a recording medium. |
