The tilting support for a sofa bed has two articulated profiles (1) with a catch (5) between them to define the selected positions. The pivot axis (3) is mounted on a rocker (11) arm with one end forming a stop to engage a flange of one profile. The other end is folded back perpendicularly to form a bracket attached to the other profile to limit their relative movement.
