FIELD: forging and pressing machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: crank press has base including table, left-hand post and tight-hand post, and cross-member. Located in side walls of cross-member are supports for eccentric axle. Provided in upper part of cross-member are symmetrical bosses with holes, and their axes are parallel to eccentric axis. Base is provided with spacers and coupling studs for preliminary tightening of side sheets of cross-member without leaving any clearance. This is achieved by means of studs through bosses and spacers. Eccentric unit with crank journals and wheel is driven into motion by means of power drive unit located on base. Slide-member is seated in guide-members of base and is connected to eccentric unit by connecting rods through eccentric bushes which are mounted on supporting axles with possibility of turning. Application of aforesaid embodiment of crank press offers higher rigidity of base together with improved repairability of press. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg
