Emission spectrograph includes a device (11) for converting data to convert measured light intensity data in multiresolution components by a frequency-time analysis and means of treating the signals (12, 12a, 12b) for specific multiresolution components converted by conversion. The means of treating the signals include means of decomposition to extract the specific multiresolution components to separate the extracted data from the residual data, means of converting the intensity by decomposition and means of reconstruction to synthesise the data by means of converting the intensity of the extracted ata and residual data which was not extracted by the decomposition. Noise is extracted in the form of residual data using the frequency-time characteristics of the noise and suppressing components which fluctuate cyclically by using their frequency-time characteristics. The conversion involves eliminating the data extracted by the decomposition. The frequency-time analysis done by the conversion involves the conversion of data based on a transformation by wavelets or to wavelets. |
