FIELD: excavation machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: machine relates to excavators, lifting cranes, loaders, and other similar devices with electric power drive which in process of operation performs turning motion around its vertical axis. Machine has platform which carries electric power drive unit and working attachment. Platform is mounted on rotating part of slewing circle together with circular-type current collector having protective housing. Rotating part of slewing circle is connected with platform. Stationary part of slewing circle is connected with non-rotating part of slewing circle. Machine is provided with bracket for circular-type current collector. It is installed on non-rotating part of slewing circle with possibility of turning around axis. Also provided is mechanism for engaging current collector with platform. Engaging mechanism has V-shaped prisms which are secured on protective housing of current collector, and T-shaped carrier. Horizontal strip of carrier is installed in prisms. Vertical rod connected with horizontal strip by universal-joint coupling is installed along axis of platform turning with possible reciprocation motion. This ensures relative immobility of ends of cable bringing electric current from current collector to electric power drive unit when platform rotates in process of operation. It also allows for disengaging current collector from platform and bringing it to position convenient for servicing. In addition, it reduces labour-intensity in assembling and servicing of machine.
