FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: device relates to appliances used for closing of wells during their overhaul. Device has body with seat. Connected to body is pipe union with shut-off member located in it. Attached to pump is pusher with radial holes. Upper part of shut-off member is tapered with angle of tapering less than 9 deg. Lower part of pusher is made in the form of funnel which embraces upper part of shut-off member for wedging of shut-off member inside pusher. This arrangement is needed for ensuring inflow of well liquid into pump and for closing of seat by applying force to shut-off member which is equal to force of breaking it away from pusher at stalling of pump. Aforesaid embodiment of device is of highly reliable performance. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
