FIELD: antenna engineering; devices radiating acoustic waves into desired sector or coverage area. SUBSTANCE: antenna has set of directional pumping converters of parametric acoustic-wave radiators with planar aperture arranged on curvilinear generating line of radius r and relatively positioned so that spatial interaction areas of two adjacent pumping converters do not intersect; angle alphao between them, linear dimension a of separate directional converter in respective scanning plane, sag h between them, coverage sector alpha, width of directivity pattern characteristic, and number N of separate directional pumping converters required to cover sector alpha are interrelated by definite equations. Antenna incorporates provision for reducing nonuniform radiation in coverage area, enlarging this area, increasing coefficient of axial concentration, eliminating additional lobes in directivity pattern in case of radiation frequency variation, maintaining constant width of directivity characteristic in broad frequency band, and increasing steepness of directivity pattern slope.
