FIELD: mechanical engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: magnetic rotator has cylinder block, crankshaft, pistons with permanent magnets whose like-polarity poles are facing outside, camshaft with disk-shaped magnets built up of several intersecting plates with pointed ends, crankshaft-to-camshaft chain transmission, clutch, and bearings. Interaction between piston magnets and disk-shaped camshaft ones as well as their joint rotation with camshaft sets pistons within cylinders in translational motion which is converted by means of crankshaft into rotary motion of shaft about its axis. EFFECT: provision for eliminating braking force between fields of camshaft and piston magnets. 3 dwg
