A novel transporter polypeptide; a DNA encoding this polypeptide; a vector containing this DNA; a transformant transformed by this vector; a process fo r producing the above transporter polypeptide; an antibody reacting specifical ly with the polypeptide; a microorganism, an animal cell or an animal producing this antibody; a method for searching for a compound having a ligand activit y by using the polypeptide, a part thereof or a microorganism, an animal cell, etc. with the expression of the same; and a method for searching for a compound regulating the expression of the gene of the polypeptide by using cells.
