<p>A bag carrier (10) includes at its distal end an arcuate and preferably circular clam ring (17) that forms a ring opening (18). The ends (19) of clamp ring (17) are spaced apart to define an access opening (21) therebetween. Flexible, reduced diameter arms (29) extend from the ends (19) of ring (17) and join curved ends (28), which are, in turn, joined by a transverse handle (26). A pair of angled guide arms (31) extend at approximately right angles to each other, with each extending from connector segments (32) up to a point along the upper reaches of arms (29). Each guide arm (31) is comprised of two angled segments (33, 34) that are disposed at oblique angles with respect to each other. A pair of flexible finger prongs (40) extend from connectors (32) down through access opening (21) and into ring opening (18). Finger prongs (40) are long enough and flexible enough to accommodate at least two different size bag necks and associated retainer clips.</p> |
