Outer and inner panels (1,2) as area elements of a system module (18) are joined to side and inner corner tubes (4,5) and a central tube (3) functioning as connector elements. Stiffness and stability of the module is ensured by a stiffening unit (7) consisting of one or more pretensioned diagonal members. Cover plates (9) are attached to the module by means of bores in outer corner tubes (6). Several modules in standing, lying or combined orientations can be stably assembled and nondestructively disassembled.
