A mounting structure for a viscosity system damping wall (1) and a mounting method thereof, wherein a high-strength bolt hole to be joined with a dowstairs beam (3) is provided at the center of a base plate (6), gusset plates (8) extending downward to a position short of the lower end of the base plate (6) are provided on opposite sides of the bolt hole, flange plates (9) are provided with gusset plates (10), a gusset plate to be joined with the high-strength bolt hole is planted on a flange of the dowstairs beam (3) to join the damping wall (1) with the beam (3), and a gusset plate (17) mounted on an upstairs beam (4) is directly joined with a middle plate (18) of the damping wall (1) to join the damping wall with the upstairs beam (4).
