<p>What is disclosed is an anti-theft device for a king pin comprising a first coupling element, which is mounted on a semi-trailer of an articulated vehicle, which anti-theft device comprises a cavity in which the king pin can be detachably fitted, and a second, rigid coupling element which is to be brought into engagement with the first coupling element. Thus, a solid anti-theft device is obtained, wherein relative axial movement between the directly coupled anti-theft device and the king pin is prevented, without any moving parts being involved. The relative mechanical vulnerability and the susceptibility to sabotage of the locking engagement thus obtained are low, whilst at the same time the number of moving parts that are required is reduced.</p> |
