METHOD FOR ASSAYING HUMAN THYMIDYLATE SYNTHASE AND ASSAY KIT

A method for immunologically assaying human thymidylate synthase by using an antihuman thymidylate synthase antibody, characterized in that at least an antihuman thymidylate synthase polyclonal antibody immobilized on an insoluble support is employed as the antibody; a method for evaluating the sensitivity of cancer cells to a fluoropyrimidine anticancer agent based on the results obtained by the above assay method; and a kit for assaying human thymidylate synthase which contains an insoluble support having at least an antihuman thymidylate synthase polyclonal antibody immobilized thereon. Thus, human TS in specimens can be assayed at a high sensibility by using the convenient immunological assay method.
