The method involves indicating a symbol combinations representing winning or loss by means of a symbol game arrangement (1) with rotating bodies arranged behind windows. A field of at least three identical symbols (27) is illuminated, all symbols are moved relatively quickly with respect to each other at random for a certain duration, the initially illuminated symbol is selected by key activation at standstill, and a winning is given at correct selection.
