Device features an aligning device for the vertical aligning of a rotating shaft (1), on which the object to be handled is fastened torsion resistantly. The shaft (1) is driven by the motor (7) and is mounted in the holder by a bearing, which permits a tilting of the shaft (1). The bearing is provided above the centre of gravity of the unit to be rotated. The holder features an adjusting device which enables the bearing of the shaft (1) to be adjusted in at least two axes.
