The arrangement has a flushing valve (4) for dispensing the flushing water with an actuating element (3) and a scent generator (6) coupled to the actuating element so that operation of the actuating element triggers the scent generator. Parts of the scent generator are mounted within the cistern of the water flushing arrangement.
