Ball bearing form of an automotive automatic gear box has groove radius maximising service life and minimising cost
摘要
A ball bearing forms part of an automotive automatic gear box and is operated in conjunction with lubricating oil having a coefficient of friction of 0.07 or more. The bearing has numerous balls positioned between a fixed bearing race and a revolving race. The oil has a body strength factor of 5 per cent and an operating temperature of 40 degrees C. The revolving race groove radius is in the range 0.53 to 0.58 Dw (ball radius) including the two other values. The ball race hardness is in the range HRC 58 to 64 including the two other values.
