The flap adjustment device has an actuator (9) connected to a reversing gear having several articulated levers of which an input lever (15) exerts opposite rotary movement to an output lever (25) whilst a force transfer connection is provided between the two levers. Force transfer faces on the two levers are each turned about bearing points (17, 13) of the associated lever and the force transfer connection only transfer forces in the rotary direction of the levers. The force transfer faces of the levers have several interengaging teeth.
