The method is carried out using a system for the detection of non-superconducting zones in a superconducting molded body with the help of a probe, which consists of a magnetic sensor and a short coil. An electric current flows through the coil (2), which produces an inhomogeneous magnetic field, which is determined with the magnetic sensor (3). The coil and the sensor are spatially connected with each other, and their mutual position is not altered during measurements.
