A package assembly or kit (300) can be used in conjunction with storing and dispensing adhesive materials. The package assembly can include an enclosure (310) in which an applicator (119) and a container (322) may be positioned. The container contains adhesive material. The enclosure may include a base (312) and a cover (314). The base preferably includes one or more cavities, with at least one applicator disposed in one of the cavities (320). Further, the container may be disposed in another of the cavities (322). The cover may be provided with a plurality of wells (324). The container may include a restrictor positioned within a neck of the container. The restrictor is provided to limit the volume of adhesive material retained in an absorbent end of an applicator such as a swab. The package assembly can be provided in a sterilized condition.
