The membrane (21) carries the vibration system consisting essentially of a vibration coil carrier (14) and a membrane (15) and connects to parts of the loudspeaker frame (12) and/or magnet system (13). The centering membrane (21) has at least two segments, each of which is continuously curved. When mounted the apices of all segments lie on the side of the centering membrane facing the vibration system's membrane.
