A storage such as a memory card includes a first storage area where information is written and read according to an instruction of the user and a second storage area where information is written and read according to a specific procedure carried out by a processor connected to the storage. Data such as the password and use history of which the easy rewrite or read by the user is not preferred is stored in the second storage area. The security of such a storage is enhanced.
