Between the venting chamber (4) on the one hand and the bearing throat (5) on the other hand is a housing inner area for accommodation of a compensation gear (9) drivable by the drive shaft (6) via a cone gearwheel stage (7,8). The housing inner area is divided into a drive-side part area (24) abutting on the bearing throat and a venting side part area (25) abutting on the venting chamber (4). A position (11) of the drive-side part area on the one hand and a position (12) of the venting side part area on the other hand are joined to one another by a pressure compensation device (13).
