PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide an air bag of three-dimensional shape having light weight and ensuring an excellent housing function, and properly maintain bag body toughness even by the use of a foundation cloth having light base weight. SOLUTION: An air bag body is formed out of two foundation cloths of a first and a second respectively having a specific shape. The first foundation cloth is provided with an inflator mounting hole and a fabric used for the second foundation cloth is formed to have the base weight of <=170 g/m2, preferably <=150 g/m2 lighter than that of the first one, and a seam related to an air bag body cloth is sewn in the condition satisfying 20<=T<=60 and 2<=T/S<=8, where T is a yarn number count and S is a stitch number (stitch/cm).
