PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porcelain composition having negative temperature coefficient of capacitance, capable of being adjusted so as to have a preferred value of the temperature coefficient of capacitance and having high transverse rupture strength. SOLUTION: This porcelain composition includes Al2O3, BaO and Nb2O5 as main ingredients. The composition ratio among ingredients exists in the range surrounded by segments linking points A, B, C, D, E, F and A successively in the ternary composition diagram. The porcelain composition having (0 or -2700) ppm/ deg.C temperature coefficient of capacitance at -40 deg.C to 80 deg.C, capable of being adjusted so as for temperature coefficient of capacitance to have a preferred value in the above range and having >=180 MPa transverse rupture strength is obtained by depositing Ba6AlNb9O30 of at least tungsten-bronze structure. |
