PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid encapsulation type vibration control rubber capable of reducing dynamic spring constant with a minor displacement vibration and providing large damping characteristic in a major displacement vibration. SOLUTION: A liquid chamber 9 is formed from a shaft 2, an outer metal piece 4 in the form of bottomed cylinder and a rubber part 8 coupling the shaft 2 with the metal piece 4, and an opening 16 in a resistance plate 18 approx. in a disc form is attached to a groove 21 provided at the peripheral surface of one end of the shaft positioned inside the liquid chamber 9, and thus liquid encapsulation type vibration control rubber 1 is formed, wherein the opening 16 is fitted with a pair of axially directed projections made of a resilient material for supporting the resistance plate 18 at a certain spacing to each side wall of the groove 21 and a projection perpendicular to the axis made of a resilient material for supporting the resistance plate 18 at a certain spacing to the bottom wall of the groove 21.
