PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decomposition of sodium percarbonate during transport and storage and to attain rapid dissolution at the time of putting in water by incorporating a magnesium compd., sodium silicate and one or more org. high molecular compds. as additives besides sodium percarbonate obtd. by allowing anhydrous sodium carbonate to react with hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: Org. high molecular compds. are represented by the formula and have a polymn. degree of 50-10,000. In the formula, m+n=100%, X is -OH, -C6H5, -C6H5SO3M or -COOH, Y and Z are identical or different working groups and are each -H, -OPO(OH)2, -OCOR or -COOM, R is 1-4C alkyl and M is H or an alkali metal. The adequate amt. of the high molecular compds. is 0.01-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. sodium carbonate.
