摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the length of oil passages for advance and lag by positioning them between attachment bolt screw holes of a camshaft support wall journalling a journal part in one end side of a cam shaft and providing head side oil passages for the oil passages for advance and lag. SOLUTION: A semi-cylindrical head side suction bearing part 72 is provided in a camshaft support wall 56 for journalling a suction journal part 68 in one end side of the suction camshaft 58 and suction attachment bolt screw holes 76 are provided in its both sides. The head side oil passage 156 of the oil passage for advance and the head side oil passage 158 of the oil passage for lag are provided between the suction attachment bolt screw holes 76 of the camshaft support wall 56. By this constitution, the lengths of the oil passages for advances and lag can be shortened to reduce the pressure loss. In this case, a hydraulic actuator 100 of a variable valve timing device 98 is provided in one side of the suction camshaft 58 so as to divide the oil to be fed to respective oil passages.
