PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insertion work and prevent backlashes and noises when a slide plate is mounted on a garnish plate, by retaining the slide plate under pressure via elasticity of jaw parts. SOLUTION: A center pillar garnish upper 13 has on both sides of its opening a plurality of generally U-sectioned jaw parts 15 integrated with the center pillar garnish upper 13 via hinge parts 17. A recessed part 21 is made in the center pillar garnish upper 13 to receive a flat part 14 of each jaw part 15 within the center pillar garnish upper 13 so that the jaw-part flat part 14 becomes flush with the center pillar garnish upper 13. Each jaw part 15 has on the other end a presser part 19 in the form of a resilient spring element or flexible element.
