<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating excreta of livestock without affecting the outside of facilities by treating the excreta of the livestock animals or a malodor generating from the excreta in the facilities. SOLUTION: This apparatus for treating excreta of livestock is equipped with a solid-liquid separating device 4 for obtaining liquid excreta 6 from discharged excreta 3 of the livestock animals, a cylindrical vertical type treating tank 11 having a hopper-shaped lower part, a secondary fermenter 15 for providing a liquid fertilizer 17, a hollow cylindrical type deodorizing and heat insulating tank 19 in which a deodorizing material layer 20 comprising an organic material having the heat insulating effects is formed in the interior, a first duct 22 for sucking and feeding a malodor 23 filled in a barn 1 to the hollow cylindrical type deodorizing and heat insulating tank 19 and a second duct 24 for discharging air in the hollow cylindrical type deodorizing and heat insulating tank 19 to the atmosphere. The liquid fertilizer 17 is sprinkled over the barn 1 and the deodorizing material layer 20, deodorized, sterilized and then sucked from the second duct 24 to thereby pass the malodor 23 taken into the hollow cylindrical type deodorizing and heat insulating tank 19 through the deodorizing material layer 20 and deodorize the malodor 23.</p> |
